FAQs

Good questions, answered.

Everything you might want to know before your first session. Can't find your answer? A coach is happy to help.

Do I need any experience to start?
Not at all. Everyone starts somewhere, and a big part of what we do is coaching complete beginners. Every session is small-group and coach-led, so you'll never be left to figure things out alone.
What's included in the free week?
A full week of fully coached sessions, completely free and with no commitment. It's the best way to feel how we coach and decide if S&P is your kind of place. Claim your free week here.
What should I wear and bring?
Comfortable training gear, trainers and a water bottle. That's it — we'll take care of the rest, including talking you through anything you need on the day.
What's the difference between Fit and Strong?
Fit is coach-led fitness and conditioning to build your engine, movement and consistency. Strong is a structured strength programme for serious, progressive lifting. Not sure which suits you? Our 60-second finder will point you the right way.
I want to start with Strong — can I?
Absolutely — Strong just begins with a quick movement assessment so we can set you up safely and get the most from your training. A coach will arrange this with you before your first session.
Do you cater to over-55s and younger people?
Yes. All Stars is our supportive, coach-led programme for later-life strength and mobility, and S&P Kids builds strength, movement and confidence for young people.
How do memberships and payments work?
Memberships are fully coached and billed monthly, with a plan for every level. You can see them all on the join page. If you'd like to talk options first, just get in touch.
Where are you and where do I park?
We're on Coronation Street, Reddish, Stockport, SK5 7PT, and there's free parking on site. You'll find a map on our contact page.
When do sessions run?
Coached sessions run Monday–Friday from 6:00am to 7:00pm and Saturday mornings 7:30–9:30am. See the full timetable for exact class times.
